Biography of Our Founder and CEO

Mamadee Konneh is the founder and CEO of the Mamadee Konneh Charity Foundation. Mamadee is a

former refugee from Liberia. As a child, Mamadee was forced to flee his country with his parents in the early 1990s due to a brutal civil war in which a quarter of a million people were killed. After several years in neighboring Guinea, Mamadee immigrated to the United States 1998. He graduated from the South Division High School in Milwaukee, WI in 1999. In the fall of 2000, Mamadee enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from where he graduated with B.A. in International Studies with emphasis on Geo-Economic and Minor in French.

Mamadee speaks English, French and Mandingo, a language spoken in West Africa.

He played four years of collegiate soccer at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He was selected All-Wisconsin 2nd Team in 2003. He led the Oshkosh Titans to Four NCAA Tournament appearances from 2000-2003 including two Final Four appearances in 2000 and 2003. He also played five years of club-level soccer for FMI and Milwaukee Serb FC.


Mamadee has a vast experience in community service. He served as President of the Wisconsin Mandingo Association in Milwaukee (WIMAM) from 2006-2008; Chairman of the planning Committee of WIMAM from 2004-2006, and a member of the board of directors of the Federation of Liberian Mandingo Association in the United States (FELMAUSA) from 2007-2009.

He currently works at Fiduciary Management Incorporated, a private Business Firm in Milwaukee, as an Administrative Associate. Also, Former owner and Manager of Konneh Trading International in Milwaukee, WI.
